Let her sleep. For when she wakes, she will move mountains.
– Napoleon Bonaparte
and to move those mountains, she will need to be fuelled and ready to go with a decent breakkie! Breakfast is something that is easily skipped. Got up too late? Decided to curl your hair, or apply a perfect lippy instead of fueling your bod? Don’t worry, we won’t judge, we’ve all been there. But! just in case, here are five easy healthy breakfasts (with incredibly useless names to go with it) to prep you for your day.
PS. What are your go-to quickie breakfasts?
Choccy Bananawoccy Weetabix
I love weetabix, you can top it with anything you love. It’s that versatile!
2 Dark choc cubes (I like 80%) melted down.
Coconut Cherries Breakfast Smoothie
To save time I chop and freeze my smoothie fruits and portion them into bags so I have all the ingredients for the perfect smoothie ready when I fancy blitzing one up.
Handful of oats
Handful of cherries
Splash of coconut milk
1/2 Handful of Dessicated coconut
I fell in love with avocado a couple of years back. Avocado’s have great health benefits and are an amazing substitute for the beloved Mayo on sandwiches.
1 Boiled egg
1 Toasted wholegrain bagel
Fruity Coconut Yoghurt
This couldn’t be more simple and is awesome for those with a bit of a sweettooth among us.
Low fat yoghurt
Handful of dried berries (or fruit of your choice)
Apple Pie overnight Oats
Unfortunately I cannot stand porridge, even though it is such a good fueller. However, I have discovered that cold ‘porridge’ is absolutely delicious. Stuff your ingredients together the night before, and eat straight from the fridge in the morning Nom..nom…nom (what a scrumptious timesaver!). Also, I would like to point out that this here is proper infused water. None of that beautiful looking fruit floating around in clear water. Once water has taken on the beautiful flavours of your concoction, it leaves dull looking strawberries in amazing tasting coloured water.
Cinnamon (to taste)
