Let her sleep. For when she wakes, she will move mountains.
– Napoleon Bonaparte

and to move those mountains, she will need to be fuelled and ready to go with a decent breakkie! Breakfast is something that is easily skipped. Got up too late? Decided to curl your hair, or apply a perfect lippy instead of fueling your bod? Don’t worry, we won’t judge, we’ve all been there. But! just in case, here are five easy healthy breakfasts (with incredibly useless names to go with it) to prep you for your day.

Happy munchings!

PS. What are your go-to quickie breakfasts?

Choccy Bananawoccy Weetabix

Screenshot 2015-08-12 09.55.24I love weetabix, you can top it with anything you love. It’s that versatile!

Ingredients
Almond milk
1 Weetabix
1/2 Banana
2 Dark choc cubes (I like 80%) melted down.

Coconut Cherries Breakfast Smoothie

Screenshot 2015-08-12 09.54.58To save time I chop and freeze my smoothie fruits and portion them into bags so I have all the ingredients for the perfect smoothie ready when I fancy blitzing one up.

Ingredients
Handful of oats
Handful of cherries
Splash of coconut milk
1/2 Handful of Dessicated coconut

AvocadoSchmado Bagel

Screenshot 2015-08-12 09.54.47I fell in love with avocado a couple of years back. Avocado’s have great health benefits and are an amazing substitute for the beloved Mayo on sandwiches.
Ingredients
1 Boiled egg
1 Toasted wholegrain bagel
1/2 Avocado

Fruity Coconut Yoghurt

Screenshot 2015-08-12 09.54.36This couldn’t be more simple and is awesome for those with a bit of a sweettooth among us.

Ingredients
Low fat yoghurt
Dessicated coconut
Handful of dried berries (or fruit of your choice)

Apple Pie overnight Oats

Screenshot 2015-08-12 10.20.28Unfortunately I cannot stand porridge, even though it is such a good fueller. However, I have discovered that cold ‘porridge’ is absolutely delicious. Stuff your ingredients together the night before, and eat straight from the fridge in the morning Nom..nom…nom (what a scrumptious timesaver!). Also, I would like to point out that this here is proper infused water. None of that beautiful looking fruit floating around in clear water. Once water has taken on the beautiful flavours of your concoction, it leaves dull looking strawberries in amazing tasting coloured water.

Ingredients
Diced Apple
Cinnamon (to taste)
Tbsp raisins
